Sliders, tenders, fries

Food: 9/10
We tried the sliders (which is what they call their sandwich), tenders, fries, cheese fries, mac and cheese, and kaleslaw. We thought flavor for the slider was on point. It was bursting with flavor and once you take a bite, you’ll notice the juices start dripping. Mild and medium are the most delicious flavors if you don’t want to break a sweat. It’s a delicious sandwich and we definitely did not think it was over-rated. It’s coated with spice, drizzled with their Dave’s Sauce, topped with a little bit of kaleslaw and pickles all on a potato bun. The tender itself is great. Sameen got the reaper, their highest spice level and was able to tolerate it. The crinkle fries are excellent, crispy, flavorful, coated with spice. The mac and cheese was smooth, creamy, and tasty. The kaleslaw was okay, it just needed to be a little more wet in our opinion. It’s less sweet and more on the drier side.

Price: 8/10
Prices are a little over average for a hot chicken spot. The menu works as Dave’s Specials 1, 2, and 3. Each special is about $13-$15. However a single slider is $7.39.

Atmosphere: 8/10
It’s a fast-casual dining space with about 20 seats. But it can get easily very crowded and loud. Order for take-out and go to Central Park 3 blocks up.

Service: -/-
This was a media event, but you really line up, order at the counter, and wait for your number to be called.
