Halal Cafe in the East Village

I don’t think anyone really knew @villagecreperie was halal but it’s been on our radar for some time after they had reached out to us. This is a halal cafe/creperie thats mostly take-out oriented. A recommendation I have is just to put a halal sticker in the front that would attract more Muslim customers.

Food: 8/10
I only got two things so I’m rating those two things. They have really everything you’d imagine a cafe to have. Coffee, smoothies, açaí bowls, sandwiches, crepes, pastries, etc. I got the Melpero Sandwich which is grilled chicken, mushrooms, and pepper jack cheese and a Turkey & Gruyere crepe, both which were good, just thought the cheese would be inside the crepe 😂 nonetheless, taste and texture of the crepe was fine.

Price: 9/10
I paid $17 for both of these items and honestly considering the location that’s pretty normal. $8 for each plus tax.

Atmosphere: -/-
You can’t really sit down inside but there’s a small outdoor setup they have with just tables and chairs.

Service: 10/10
The guys are nice - they bring the food out to you and make sure you have everything you need.
