Manhattan Gets It's Own Desi Boba Shop

Pila de Boba (@piladeboba_), which roughly translates to “Get me Boba” in Hindi, is the newest bubble tea addition to the East Village, but it’s not just any regular bubble tea shop — they have Desi flavors like Falooda kulfi, malai kulfi, and mango kulfi. Our personal favorite is the Falooda kulfi which has soaked basil seeds, vermicelli noodles, and of course, kulfi ice cream.

Prices range from $6-$8.50 for the bubble teas. You can also get a waffle cone with kulfi for $10.95 which we’ll try next time.
