Avenue BBQ Hut is a halal Trin-bagonian BBQ spot in South Richmond Hill, Queens that has been operating for almost 2 years now. The food is fresh, made daily, and can only be ordered for take-out.

Food: 9/10
The food was everything you could imagine. It was so savory, finger-licking-good, and definitely filling. The first pic has BBQ Lamb, Rice and Beans, Mac Pie, Jerk Mac, and Lo Mein. The second pic is the 1/4 BBQ Chicken with all their sauces, and the third pic is the Shrimp Rasta Pasta, which is sort of like a spicy Alfredo pasta. I love the mains, but I just love the sides so much more hehe.

Price: 8/10
You definitely get what you pay for. Most of their items are main + 2 sides. Average ranges from $10-$20 a plate.

Atmosphere: -/-
There is no space for indoor seating, it’s just takeout. But they do have a table set up outside if you want to eat on the spot. Everything is kept clean in and out.

Service: 10/10
Service was excellent. Some items will need to be made on the spot if it’s not out. The employees are very nice and helpful. It is a family business and you can tell they really put the effort and love into their food.
