Big Fusion Restaurant Recently Becomes Halal in Forest Hills

Jade Eatery (@jadeeatery) is a beautiful Asian-Fusion restaurant located in the heart of Forest Hills, Queens. This is a wonderful establishment for a good meal and time out with friends or loved ones. The meats and sushi (no rice wine used) here are halal. They do have a bar.

Chicken Dumplings

Food: 8/10
For drinks, we ordered Strawberry Mojito and Passion Colada and both were excellent. For appetizers, which came super fast, we got Rock Shrimp (that we couldn't stop eating, hefty portion), Teriyaki Chicken Wings, and Steamed Chicken Dumplings. We loved it all and it was enjoyable. For mains, we ordered Station Square sushi, Teriyaki Flank Steak, Calcutta Chicken, and Grilled Lamb Chops. The Teriyaki Flank Steak was a little tough to chew on, but that's probably how the cut is itself. We really liked the Grilled Lamb Chops. It comes with green chutney sauce but honestly we didn't even need to use it, it was great on its own. Everything was flavorful - there was not one dish that lacked flavor or was dry.

Price points are reasonable for the atmosphere, food portion, and food quality.

Atmosphere: 10/10
Again, a very nice place for on occasion. It has a dark, sophisticated ambiance - more on the fancier side but also casual. There’s a giant koi pond in the middle of the restaurant floor. Can seat many, many people. There is also private party space in the back.

Service: 10/10
Food came fast, there were plenty of servers available to cater to our needs.
