Yolk Up (@yolk_up) is serving up fast-casual halal brunch on Union Turnpike in Queen! Here’s our review:

Classic BEC

Food: 8.5/10
The quality of food speaks for itself. The menu is short and sweet, and has something tasty for everyone. For breakfast items, we ordered their Classic BEC, Yolkado Toast, and Chik n’ Waffle. The Classic BEC was probably the most delicious bite of all! The bun is warm and toasty, the scrambled eggs are pillowy soft, and the melted cheese and crispy flavorful bacon really ties everything together. So good! The Yolkado Toast and Chik n’ Waffles were also very good, though the chicken on the waffles was slightly tough. For lunch items, we ordered the Yolk Burger, Double Cheeseburger, and Chicken Sliders. The Double Cheeseburger was our favorite! Even though it’s just two beef patties and American cheese on a brioche bun, the flavor packed a punch and the beef was so juicy! The Yolk Burger was a tasty combination featuring a ground chicken patty, pepperjack cheese, caramelized onions, and yolk sauce. The Chicken Sliders unfortunately fell a bit short for us since it was just a fried chicken patty and honey mustard sauce on a roll. We really appreciate that both the chicken and beef patties are made fresh.
For drinks, we had their cookies n cream shake which was beyond our expectations! It was creamy and thick and tasted just like an Oreo. We also had their brown sugar signature bubble tea which was also really well made and the perfect end to the meal.

Atmosphere: 10/10
The space is very spacious with bright lights and counter ordering. We also loved the stool seating against the window!

Service: 10/10
Everyone working there is super friendly and insightful! You order and pick up your food at the counter.
