Humble Indian Eats in East Harlem

Flames Indian Aroma (@flamesindianaroma) is a humble Indian restaurant in East Harlem serving popular dishes like chicken tikka masala and unique dishes like tandoori wings.

Tandoori Wings

Food: 8/10
We started off with drinks: mango and sweet lassi which were amazing. It was thick, viscous, and had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. For appetizers we had tandoori wings that was delicious. We also tried chicken tikka masala and lamb chops that were both flavorful. The lamb had a melt in your mouth softness to it. The chicken biryani was standard - the flavor was there, but it didn't have any special component to it. The naan was to obsess over. It was pillowy soft and just so delicious.

Price: 8/10
They have a lunch menu ($10-$14) and a dinner special ($17-$23). Everything else is standardly priced in our opinion.

Atmosphere: 8/10
It is a humble space that can seat about 20 people. Mostly eat and leave kind of place. Beautiful mural work on the wall too!

Service: 10/10
The service is fast. Server comes to your table and you order. Server was also very nice.
