Manny's Sweet Treats in RVC Offers Halal Menu

Breakfast and dessert, anyone?

Here’s our review for Manny’s Sweet Treats (@mannysweetreats) in Rockville Center, a dessert and treats shop recently introducing savory halal items. Their treats are halal as well.

Please note ONLY the Rockville Center location is HALAL.

Pancake Taco

Food: 9/10
We got the Pancake Tacos which we thought were excellent. The pancakes were quite thick and pretty smooth and it comes with scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, and halal beef bacon. The Chicken and Waffles were also very good since the waffles were sturdy, crunch, and flavorful and the fried chicken was coated nicely and you can tell it was nicely marinaded. Fries however were kind of soggy and were not salted. For sweets, we had the red velvet burrito which was a sugar bomb. It looks simple but it’s very heavy and really good for when you’re having a sweet-tooth. Comes with churros (excellent) and whip on the side. The Blue Sapphire Float was good, great ice cream (vanilla) and just overall really pretty to look at. We suggest to bring a party of at least 4 to finish this lol. And the Bathtub Sundae we got was the Brownie Overload Sundae which (don’t get us wrong) was REALLY GOOD but we kind of got a little sick after having so much sweets honestly lol.

Savory items range from $12-$15 and desserts go from $10-$16. Small dessert items go for .75 cents to $6.

Atmosphere: 8/10
It’s on the smaller side however the decor and interior really sets a fun mood. Can seat ~10 people.

Service: 8/10
Service is standard. You order up front and they bring the food to your table.
