New Halal Option Near Times Square

Burger World serves up delicious fast-food in a non-pretentious atmosphere. It’s a small, slim restaurant located between Garment District and Hell’s Kitchen.

Burger World Special Burger

Food: 8/10
We got the Burger World Special Burger which consists of two patties, cheese, and halal beef bacon. This was excellent. Extremely poor choice for our hearts, but quality was great. Next we got the Philly Cheesesteak. This wasn’t authentic, but it didn’t taste bad either. It’s served on a kaiser roll bun. We also got the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich. This was also excellent. It was crispy and crunchy and was packed with meat. Also served on a kaiser roll. Poutine was listed in the menu, so we had to try it because … why not?? It was alright, fries were kind of soggy.

Price: 9/10
For the area, you’d expect prices to be in the $15-$20+. But it’s not. The burger was $10, sandwiches were $8, and poutine was $6. Pretty great deal.

Atmosphere: 7/10
It leans more towards a skinnier restaurant and seats about 14 people. It just felt like you were in Crown but just a little taken up a notch.

Service: 9/10
Service was great - staff is very attentive and tries to come fast with your order.
