Thai Take-Out In Brooklyn

To Be Thai has been serving delicious Thai food for 14 years and have recently shifted to a (mostly) halal supply for their meats.

Note: this place is only take-out/delivery. We were invited to dine-in at the corner space they had.

Double note: The wings and soup are not halal. The owner is actively looking to change suppliers and halal brands. They do not share the same areas as the halal dishes.

Drunken Noodles with beef

Food: 9/10
For apps, we got fried shrimp & chicken dumplings which were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside which resulted in a great bite with the addition of sweet chili sauce on the side. We tried the summer rolls which were also very good. And we also tried the curry puffs that were above par. For mains, we tried drunken noodles with beef, which tasted really good. Like it really hit the spot. Next up was the Crispy Basil Duck, and if you asked us, it was our FAVORITE dish. So good. Yes, really crispy and overall finger-licking flavor. Comes with white rice on the side. Lastly for mains, we tried the Pad Prik King which is a blend of Thai spices and herbs mixed with coconut milk — very delicious and a must-try if you’re looking to get out of your drunken noodles habit. This also comes with white rice. For dessert we tried the Fried Banana with ice cream. Totally light and enough sweetness to complete the meal.

Price: 10/10
Overall prices are very good for the generous portion of food you get. Appetizers average $5 and mains $11.
