Bagel Point Serves a Halal Menu

PLEASE NOTE:
All menu items displayed in-store are ALL HALAL. They have boars head BUT it is not displayed! Of course we all know it is not halal. But that option is only on the website. It’s also when customers *ask* for it as a topping to a salad, etc. It is NOT an active item on the menu in-store. The items that are halal are the bacons (turkey and beef), chicken, beef, pastrami, and sausages.

As always, you are free to make the choice on your own on whether you patron there or not. We were recently just informed but that’s also because we did not see any Boar’s Head there and the owner would of course, not serve us that.

Egg, Cheese, Sausage Bagel

Food: 10/10
You can’t go wrong with fresh bagels. Bagel Point is serious about the freshness, taste, and presentation of their bagels — and we can clearly see that when we tried it! Pictured here is the Pastrami Lox on an everything bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, and capers. Super delicious. Next is the “B3” the Hot In-House Pastrami Sandwich — this was beyond delicious. It was creamy but also savory - good option for those looking for smoked meat in their sandwich. Next is the vegan pizza flagel, basically has corn, black bean, jalapeños, onion, vegan cheese, tomato sauce, and avocado — refreshing, crunchy, and delicious. Lastly, we have the Mediterranean sandwich. This one has house grilled chicken, hummus, baked tomato, fresh mozz, and vinaigrette on a “cragel” - CROISSANT BAGEL. Yes, they came up with it themselves. You’ll only find it here. This was soft because of the cragel and bursting with flavor. Juices kept dripping out but it was worth it. They also serve @counterculturecoffee!!

Price: 8/10
For the amount of fixings you get in your fresh, high-quality bagel, prices are justified. A bagel with flavored cream cheese is ~$3-$5. It’s standard.

Atmosphere: 10/10
It’s spacious, bright, and clean. They have seating both inside, outside, and in the enclosed outdoor dining area.

Service: 10/10
Everything is made on the spot when you order. It does get busy in peak hours! But the lines gets moving. You’ll find that you won’t wait for your food for more than 5 minutes.
