Halal Cafe with Espresso Bar, Ice Cream, and Small Brunch Bites

The Skilled Archer is a new halal cafe in Bushwick. It’s previous location used to be a Cocoa Grinder so if you’ve been before, the interior and setting will feel very familiar. They serve up decently portioned plates ranging from brunch bites to burgers.

Food: 7/10
The Classic Double Patty burger is made with housemade patties, pickles and tomatoes. The two patties were much smaller than the brioche bun itself. Presentation wise it looks a little awkward, but nonetheless, the burger wasn’t bad. We also got the Chicken Harissa sandwich, Parmesan tots, a Rose flavored latte and Lavender flavored latte, which will all be posted later.

Price: 8/10
Prices are decent for most items. Nothing really goes above $13. An average item is $8-$12. This Classic Double Patty Burger is $12, which is a bit of a stretch, considering the patties were kinda small.

Atmosphere: 9/10
It’s your Brooklyn cafe with people working on their laptops. It almost looks like it’s a classroom if you come at prime time lol. But it’s clean, super spacious, and has a charming interior with vintage decals sporadically placed.

Service: 8/10
You pay for your order at the counter and your food comes to your table. The staff is helpful if you have any questions.
