Halal Spanish Food in Long Island

We finally got to visit @laestacionbrentwood - a halal deli and pizzeria with lots of variety of cuisines on the menu. They’re heavy on Spanish items like empanadas, papusas, and quesadillas. They also have a huge deli menu.

Quarter Chicken with Peruvian rice

Food: 8/10
We got the beef and chicken empanadas which were fantastic. Big and packed to the brim and tasted very good. Quarter Chicken with Peruvian rice was also excellent. The Poor Man’s Beef Steak was okay, the steak needed work but flavor was good. Can’t really expect so much since that dish was only $11.99! The Happy Rancher hot press hero comes with grilled chicken, halal beef bacon, guacamole, Muenster cheese, ranch dressing, and romaine lettuce - it was yummy but can definitely be too much to finish. They gave everyone dining complimentary Desi barbecue items so we have shish kebab, bihari kebab, and malai kebab — all so tasty! The chicken tamales - we weren’t really a fan of... For drinks we got sweet lassi and “Zero Cholesterol” juice that was amazing (it’s papayas, oats, and pineapple water). All in all, definitely a place worth the visit to try delicious Spanish dishes.

Prices are totally reasonable, too good even. Great bang for your buck.

Atmosphere: 10/10
We dined outside in their huge open picnic space with a big lawn. There’s a kids bounce house too.

Service: 9/10
Great service - food comes quick and staff is super nice.
